I didn’t always know I wanted to be a doctor.

I‘m not one of the med students who knew from day one they were destined to be a doctor.

In college I majored in nutrition and meditation and consistently found myself searching for my place in the healthcare field.

Health and healing have always been my passions, but I didn’t consider medical school in the realm of possibilities for myself. (Queue follow your dreams and DROP your limiting beliefs!!) Eventually I just knew in my heart I wanted to go to medical school so that I would have a broader lens through which I could view health and help people.

So I went back to school to take a couple pre-requisites and started volunteering at a medical clinic for the uninsured and I began working at an integrative medical practice… the more I was exposed to the medical field the more I fell in love with this path.

When did you KNOW you had found your path?
