Incorporating board prep into my OMS2 year with USMLE-Rx

Started working on my board prep schedule this week (still can’t believe I am thinking about boards, but here we are!!) and wanted to share one of my fav resources for EVERYTHING!!

I became a USMLE-Rx Ambassador after using their resources during my neuro block last spring (those of you who have been following since spring know the beginning of this block was ROUGH, and this resource def helped make it more manageable).

I used USMLE-Rx’s flashcards, videos, Rx Bricks, and Qmax Qbank to follow along in First Aid and not just learn, but also RETAIN the high yield content! All of USMLE-Rx’s resources follow along with First Aid so that you can quickly find your page and annotate your First Aid book or the digital edition in Rx (time saver = major win).

I really wish I had started using USMLE-Rx and First Aid at the START of med school, there are tons of mnemonics and memory tricks integrated in both of these resources and I plan on using both of them throughout second year so that I can prep for my course exams AND boards simultaneously!!

My strategy to cover both preparing for course exams and boards is to first go through the First Aid book with Rx Bricks and videos together, then do flashcards, and lastly do Qbank questions in that order.

Send me an email or a message on Instagram if you have any questions about USMLE-Rx or other board prep resources!

Here is a link to a 5 day free trial, this is how I first started using USMLE-Rx!
